Our Client was experiencing diminished capacity of its aging Mix Plant, which was undermining their operational productivity and plant reliability. With the need to execute a rapid replacement, James Hardie engaged the team at MJK Industries to design and deliver a new & improved Mix Plant whilst minimising production impact during the project. With all engineering, design, fabrication, installation and project management managed in-house, MJK Industries was able to facilitate the replacement of a new, improved Mix Plant and auxillary equipment, inclusive of mixers, screw conveyors, pipework, platforms and access.
Scope of Work involved full Project Management and supply of Engineering and Design, Fabrication, and Installation of the newly-designed Mix Plant, inclusive of:
Through demonstrated Project Management capabilities, the scope was expanded to include design, fabrication and installation of other replacement pipework in the area.
Total work completed ~$1.4m
MJK Industries successfully designed, fabricated, installed and project managed the replacement of aging Mix Plant, associated pipework, platforms and access ways on-time and on-budget. Through demonstrated capabilities in project execution, our scope was extended to include design, fabrication and installation of additional replacement pipework, making this an extensive part of the works undertaken. Working in collaboration with our Client, we were able to structure work to minimise operational impact, and the resulting newly installed Mix Plant and pipework has improved the Client’s production capacity and efficiency.
